Shuttle Service for Hotel Guests

When you make your reservations our host hotel, the Deauville, each guest in the room will receive COMPLIMENTARY ROUNDTRIP SHUTTLE SERVICE from the Host Hotel to the Miami Beach Convention Center (about 4 miles south). This cost saving benefit is only available for NAGVA members staying at the Deauville (and their guests)!

Car Rental Price Comparison

If your plans while in Miami include checking out the bar/club scene in nearby Ft. Lauderdale, you've probably made up your mind about renting a car. For others who are considering car rental for getting to/from the playing facility, night time social venues, etc., note the following:

  • Valet parking at the Deauville is $20 per day (x 5 days) = $100
  • Convention Center parking is $15 per day (x 3 days) = $45
  • Parking costs for a car rental could amount to $145 or more!
  • Average cost for SUV/Minivan rental from major agency for Memorial Day, originating at Miami International Airport, is currently $65 per day (x 4 days) = $260 (+ taxes, related fees, and gas.)
  • Grand total (rough estimate): $500

Booking a NAGVA room at the Deauville will not only save you time and effort in the morning and returning after playing, but also helps keep money in your pocket to spend out on the town!

Shuttle Service Details

  • Shuttles will do round trip runs from the hotel to the convention center.
  • A system will be in place to allow shuttle drivers to positively identify NAGVA members (and travel companions) who are hotel guests.
  • Shuttles will run Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Exact shuttle times and schedules will be posted closer to the event
