New updates have been added to Championships-related pages of the website:

Annual Meeting / Elections Information

Team and League Reps and Members! Your presence is requested at NAGVA's Annual Meeting. During the meeting, proposed changes to our By Laws and Rules & Regulations will be discussed and voted upon. Members will also vote for candidates running for positions on our Executive Board.

Ratings from Recent Tournaments

Congratulations to those who demonstrated skills qualifying them to advance to the next division! Our Rules & Regulations state that rating changes taking place prior to April 1st are in effect for Championships. With the exception of Denver (4/5) and Cleveland & Baltimore (4/28), if you were (re)rated at a tournament prior to 4/1, the new rating is what will show on your roster for Championships.

Matchmaker Update

Aside from a short period in the Fall, NAGVA's Matchmaker service has been available for use almost the entire season, including NOW. Over 57 players and teams submitted posts for the New York tournament, 38 for New Orleans, 11 for San Diego, 23 for St. Louis, 26 for San Jose, and 12 for Seattle.

Championships Posts

There are currently about 45 posts for Championships Miami - 9 Teams and 36 Players. For an unknown reason, when you initially click "players" or "Teams" for Championships, the page displayed says "0 Posts for Championships;" however, if you then select "All" in the drop-down menu of tournaments, Championships posts will display correctly.

Please be aware - there is NO availability at the Deauville on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for ANY room type (other than $799/night) outside of our contract.What does this mean? It means guests who wait until after April 21st and do not use our contract for reserved rooms - run a MAJOR risk of not getting a room at the host hotel. Make your reservation today!
